Gorillas move around by Knuckle-walking throughout their environment.
They sometimes walk bipedally (moves with back close to horizontal) for short distances while carrying food or in defensive situations.
Knuckle-walking: Is a form of using all four limbs to walk. The forelimbs hold thefingers in a partially flexed posture that allows body weight to press down on the ground through the knuckles themselves.
The thumb and big toe of gorillas oppose the other fingers and toee, enabling them to grasp and also handle objects.
